Authors can join the Slovenian Authors' Society voluntarily by signing an agreement. In order to support the members of the society to claim their rights, samples of authorship contracts and a recommended price list are accessible at the ZAMP website. In 2007 the society had 706 full members, mostly writers, translators, and university professors.
International and institutional collaboration
The society manages authorship rights in the territory of Slovenia only and collaborates with several Slovenian organisations and societies: the Slovene Writers’ Association, the Slovene Association of Literary Translators, the Society of University Professors, and the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office (SIPO).
In 2003 the society co-founded the Slovenian Organization of Authors and Publishers for Reproduction Rights (SAZOR).
The society is a provisional member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC).
