Publishing programme
Goga's literature publishing programme aims to give new perspectives on local literature, as well as on work in translation. Goga is interested in first-class literature related to current topics. Since 2003 it has also published the Anagoga edition, which features monograph publications. Edition Lunapark specialises in children's and youth literature.
Rast, a quarterly review for literature, culture and social issues, is published by Goga in collaboration with the Municipality of Novo mesto, and Park Magazine, whose chief aim is to raise awareness of socio-political, regional, and cultural questions.
Goga also publishes audio CDs in its music collection GOGA Musica. Jazz, ethno, folk, and other genres may be found in the collection.
International collaboration
Goga Publishing House is one of 26 literary institutions in 21 European countries active in the HALMA network. Through its activities in running Hostel Situla in Novo mesto, which is one of two Slovene houses in the HALMA network (the second being the apartment of the Slovene Writers’ Association), Goga aims to not only provide but also to revitalise the town's old city centre. Goga also organises the exchange of Slovene authors to other residencies across Europe.
