A A C Productions Ltd Ljubljana was established in 1993 by Slovene film director Igor Šterk. Under A A C Productions he created his first three feature films, Ekspres, Ekspres (1995), Ljubljana (2002) and Tuning (2005).


A A C Production also produced the short film Stari Most (1998) by Vlado Škafar, which was shot in Mostar and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Ekspres Ekspres won 15 international film awards at film festivals in Kyviv (Molodist festival), Montpellier (Grand Prix and Audience Prize), Cottbus (Audience Prize), Mons, Trieste (Grand Prix), Palić (Yugoslavia - Best Foreign Film), Annonay, etc. During 1999-2000 the film was distributed in Germany (it being the first Slovene film after 30 years to have cinema distribution in an EU country). Ekspres Eskpres also won the Best Director Award, FIPRESCI Prize and the Prize For Best Actor, the Best Photography Award and the Best Sound Award at the 1997 Festival of Slovene Film in Portorož.

Ljubljana was selected in the Tiger Award competition of the Rotterdam film festival programme in 2002. Film was shown in festivals around the world (Karlovy Vary, Seattle, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Thessaloniki, Montpellier, etc). It won the Vesna Award for Best Actor and the Best Photography Award at the 2002 Festival of Slovene Film in Portorož. Slovene cinematography was represented by Šterk's film Ljubljana in the frame of the Austrian National Film Festival in Graz in March 2003.

Tuning, the third feature film by Igor Šterk, had its world premiere in July 2005 in competitionof the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. At the 54th International Film Festival in Mannheim-Heidelberg in November 2005, the film Tuning received the Main Awardfor the Best Feature Film. It also received Vesuvio Award for the Best Feature Film at Napoli Film Festival. It was successfully shown at festivals all over Europe and America: Montreal, Chicago, Edinburgh, Buenos Aires, Ghent (competition), Montpellier (competiton), Denver, Kerala, etc. In 2008 a short film Vdih (Every Breath You Take) by Igor Šterk has been produced.
