At first the festival presented recent productions by Slovene repertory theatres to the audiences of the Slovene coastal towns of Koper-Capodistria and Piran-Pirano. Many theatre plays were performed in the streets and town squares. In Summer 2007 the festival was dedicated to Molière. The programme presented Molière's plays that were staged at the Slovene National Theatre Maribor, Slovene National Theatre Nova Gorica and Koper Theatre, at the Slovene Permanent Theatre Trieste-Trst, and the performance Molière directed by Barbara Novakovič Kolenc, Muzeum Institute).
Later on the festival programme was less ambitious due to some budget cuts. Recently it has featured smaller performances, mostly coming from the littoral region.
