Nearly 20 Slovenian illustrators are participating in this year's Ilustrofest, including Tjaša Bon, Teja Ideja, Sara Kajba, Manca Krošelj, Ana Maraž, Andreja Peklar, Maja Poljanc, Alenka Spacal, Jernej Žumer, and others. The award for the best illustrated book went to the talented Slovenian illustrator Eva Mlinar, for her work in the book "One Hundred Slovanian Folk Tales - Sto slovenskih ljudskih", published by Morfem Publisher in 2023.

Publishing programme
Morfem publishes an extensive catalogue of books in Slovenian and English languages. The majority of its publishing programme focuses on children's picture books and longer books for children, with book series focused on children with special needs such as dyslexia; a series about Egyptian Pharaons with books dedicated to Cleopatra, Hatshepsut and Nefertiti; The Best of All Series focusing on special people in children's lives and more.
Morfem also publishes various series of books in translation for youth readers and adults, including Slovenian translation of the popular series about Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan, Derek Landy's skeleton detective Skulduggery Pleasant.
International activities
Since 2010, Morfem participates regularly in various international book fairs, including the Bologna Book Fair, the Shanghai Book Fair, and the Frankfurt Book Fair, among others.
Morfem's Reading Room
Morfem records readings of some of its most popular children's books and posts them on its Soundcloud profile as audiobooks.
