The heavy metal international music festival Metalcamp was held every July from 2004 up to 2012 when the last edition of Metalcamp, promoted by Rock the Nation, took place at Tolmin, in the beautiful surroundings of the Alps.
Metalcamp was one of the central metal events in this part of Europe and certainly had the most international character among music festivals in Slovenia.
