Background
In 2002 Maribor received an ECTP–CEU Honourable Mention for its urban planning efforts. Back then having more than 170 members, nowadays the association is again striving to establish a visible and active platform through a reorganisation of its executive body, offering a new programme, and carefully managing its valuable archive that also includes works of Edvard Ravnikar (1907–1993).
International cooperation
In 2014 the Town and Spatial Planning Association of Slovenia participated at the annual assembly of the Conseil européen des urbanistes (ECTP–CEU) in Brussels and in Berlin. In April 2015 the ECTP CEU general assembly was interlinked with the international conference CITY-GLOBE in Budapest.
