Activities
Besides its publishing activities and successful participation in many competitions, the association organises lectures, exhibitions of the work of its members, and panel discussions.
Month of Landscape Architecture
The annual Month of Landscape Architecture that takes place in April has become an important event offering lectures, guided tours, and children's workshops, thus educating on the environmental, social, and economic factors of spatial planning, landscape planning, and landscape design.
International cooperation
Together with the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Ljubljana, the Slovene Association of Landscape Architects has organised several conferences, e.g. the Landscape Planning in the Era of Globalisation in Portorož in 2002, and Public open space in Ljubljana in 2008.
In 2016 when Ljubljana had a title of the European Green Capital, the Green Infrastructure, New Challenges for Urban Landscape Planning international conference took place at the Ljubljana Castle. One of the partners was also TURAS, the EU funded project ‘Transitioning towards Urban Resilience and Sustainability’.
