KIBLA Multimedia Centre Junction protocols exhibition by Dragan Živadinov, Dunja Zupančič and Miha Turšič, KiBela Art Space, Maribor 2007 In 1996 KIBLA Multimedia Centre (Association for Culture and Education KID KIBLA) opened as Slovenia's first presentation and production institution in dealing with multimedia and new media art within an ongoing cultural programme. Since then KIBLA's programme has focused on new (contemporary) educational, cultural and artistic practices, connecting education and research, culture and technology, arts and sciences. Predjama Castle Predjama Castle, annual medieval tournament, 2006 One of the most picturesque castles in Slovenia, Predjama Castle is built into an overhanging rock in front of a karst cave hall that is connected with a cave system underneath the castle. It is situated just a a few kilometres from the entrance to the Postojna Cave. The castle is now a museum on five floors that shows the life in the 16th century, with an armoury, dungeon, halls, living quarters and other castle facilities.
