Dražen Štader, born in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, graduated at the [[Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana (FELU)]] and later also in film directing at the [[Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT)]] in Ljubljana. His first film was In Transit (2000), which was awarded as the best student film at the [[Festival of Slovene Film]], followed by Žile, Sweet Life (2001), Orgasmus (2002) and the documentary film Rudi Omota: The Overlooked Chapter of Slovene Cinematography (2004). At the New York Independent Film Festival his documentary Honeymoon won the award for best adult-themed documentary. Honeymoon is the first part of a trilogy that deals with modern Japanese society through a prism of sexploitation. It focuses on a live TV sex station named Paradise TV that pushes the boundaries of reality television on a daily basis. Dražen Štader makes also music video clips and commercials. He usually edits his own films.
