"bal" is a transdisciplinary comparative collaboration project exploring the art and culture of the Balkans and the Baltics. The two day conference will include screenings, presentations, discussions, and an afterparty. The work of Slovenian artists Teja Miholič and Nina Dragičević will be included, with moderation by Hana Čeferin.

"Volatile Season" is an exhibition about the unpredictability of weather and what that means for our future. Featuring works by Sara Rman, Maruša Uhan, and Neja Zorzut, and curated by Hana Čeferin.

House of European Union will be celebrating the European day of Languages with a programme for elementary schools, which will include Slovene language. In collaboration with Haus der Europäischen Union Wien and Slovenian Culture and Information Centre, Vienna (SKICA).

During the Vienna Design Week, two Slovenian group exhibitions will be held. The first exhibition, titled "VODA - WATER" covers designs inspired by water. It features designs by Softbaroque, Tanja Pak, Lara Bohinc, Hana Tavčar, Darja Malešič, David Tavčar, Rok Oblak, Nika Zupanc, Izadora Verlič, Prapra, Pjorkkala, Raketa, Goat Story and Kolpasan. The second exhibition "Crafting Futures" deals with the current topic of connecting modern design production with the rich heritage of handicrafts. It features designs by Rok Oblak, Luka Pleskovič, Darja Maleščič, Maruša Mazej, Pjorkkala, Andraž Rudi Vrhovšek, Lucija Perko, Lara Baler, Boris Ouček, Nina Vastl Štefe, Luka Bernik and Črt Štrubelj. A whole day opening programe and a round table will be held on Saturday, 21. of September. "Look Me in The Eye - The Time is Now! - Poglej me v oči - ta čas je zdaj!" is a multimedia exhibition prepared by the students of Arts Academy of the University of Nova Gorica, included in the "Campus" section. The exhibition is curated by Professor Rene Rusjan. The students participating are Milan Bajčetić, Polina Bakalski, Luka Carlevaris, Ana Evtić, Nel Jeraj Sedej, Blaž Stantič Kobal, Primož Lukežič, Natalia Polonskaia, and Tamara Taskova. Rdeča Raketa and Mamka Records prepared an art exhibiton and festival "OVER.WRITE.ME", featuring the artworks of their 3rd vinyl production "...and cannot reach the silence". Since 2022, many artworks have been created by multiple artists, including Maja Osojnik. The exhibition is accompanied by a festival of concerts, providing an overview of the label's previous work, future label artists and establishing connections and exchanges. "Touch Nature" is a travelling exhibition of Bundesministerium für europäische und internationale Angelegenheiten. The exhibition is creating a bridge between Bad Radkersburg and Gornja Radgona: Slovenian artists will be exhibiting in the old border checkpoint on the Austrian side, while the Austrian artists will be exhibiting in the old checkpoint on the Slovenian side. The featured artists include Vanja Bučan, Matjaž Wenzel, Meta Kastelic, Brane Širca, Nina Koželj and Žiga Divjak. In collaboration with Bundesministerium für europäische und internationale Angelegenheiten, Österreichisches Kulturforum Laibach und Artikel-VII-Kulturverein für Steiermark - Pavelhaus.

"Our Warehouse - Naše skladišče", a humorous social drama directed by Mateja Kokol. Produced by Prešeren Theatre Kranj.

"Around The Paths of Peace: In Search of Traces of War 1915-118" is an event about connections between trenches still visible in the territory between Switzerland and Adriatic Sea. The debate with historians from Austria and Hungary and a representative of Italy will include two Slovenian speakers, Maša Klavora from Walk of Peace in the Soča Region Foundation, and Martin Šolar from Kobarid Museum. Austrian historian Peter Schubert, PhD, will also be presenting two of his books. Organised in collaboration with Collegium Hungaricum, Kral Verlag, Walk of Peace in the Soča Region Foundation, Kobarid Museum, Verein Dolomitenfreunde – Friedenswege Österreich and Promo Turismo FVG Cervignano del Friuli.

The Research Center for the History of Transformations (RECET) at the University of Vienna and the Research Platform "Transformations and Eastern Europe" invite to their regular Transformative Salon, this time to discuss the book "Shaping Revolutionary Memory: The Production of Monuments in Socialist Yugoslavia" with editors and authors Sanja Horvatinčić and Beti Žerovc, with Jelena Đureinović (RECET) moderating the event. The book was published by Igor Zabel Association for Culture and Theory and Archive Books.

A projection of "The Magic Mountain", a film about asbestos mining in the Piemont region of Italy, and a sit-down with the director Micol Roubini and the curator Gabi Scardi.
