The Puppetry Artists Institution of Slovenia was established in 2001 by a group of puppetry organisations (Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, Jože Pengov Puppet Theatre and the Association of Puppeteers). ULU (Ustanova lutkovnih ustvarjalcev) stimulates the development of puppetry in Slovenia through presentations and educational activities and fosters international cooperation.
