The free cultural magazine Gledga is dedicated to the lively and diverse programmes of the Koper Theatre and the Obalne galerije - Coastal Galleries. Its name is a combination of the first syllable of the Slovenian words gledališče (theatre) and galerija (gallery).

Issued 6 times per year in 3000–5000 copies, it brings news on exhibitions, performances, symposia and conferences as well as photo chronicles and interviews with the local and international artists and participants. Published since 2003 Gledga is the first example of such a symbiosis among municipal cultural institutions in Slovenia.

KiBela Art Space has an exclusive approach to installing art in the space: various art aesthetics in space being such by content or by media that artists use in a creative way. KiBela archive includes social art openings, performances, presentations and other art events, that are installed in a classical way or as high technological settings and architecturaly challenging projects.

In KiBela, space for art, hundreds of exhibitions, performances, presentations and other artistic events have taken place since 1999, in both traditional, as well as advanced technological set-ups.

The establishment of Škuc Gallery in 1978 as part of the alternative programmes of the ŠKUC offered an important foil to the dominant exhibition policy of the established national galleries and institutions in Slovenia.

Preparing approximately one exhibition monthly plus additional events and guest appearances abroad and at home, the Škuc Gallery has over the years become one of the most visited exhibition premises in Slovenia. Through close co-operation with international institutions, curators and artists Škuc Gallery has developed into an important public centre for exhibitions, events, publishing, research and documentation in the field of contemporary visual arts.
